Each setting includes a dinner plate, a salad plate, a soup bowl, and a teacup and saucer. The design on the Feng Shui dinner plate, soup bowl, teacup, and saucer is a white background partially encircled with two trailing sprigs of moss green and silver gingko leaves. The salad plate has a slightly different design; a tall green fern spans the plate.
This dinnerware is part of Mikasa’s Maxima series of fine china, which appears to be as delicate as bone china but is especially strong and dense due to the addition of a mineral called Alumina. Maxima pieces are resistant to chipping and thermal shock so they travel from the oven to the freezer with ease and are dishwasher-safe as well.
