View Full Version : noppv directory
I'm running version 2.5.2....can someone tell me if it matters what directory the noppv.tcl file is run from?.....i can run the file manually and it will remove the flags, but I can't seem to get it to run automatically.....when i run the #0#12 command i see that its active, but it always reads "0" shows fixed.....is this because its looking for the file in a different directory?

The directory doesn't matter. If you're running noppv recycled using xPlusz on a frequent basis then you'll see the 0 shows fixed most of the time. That's because it doesn't find any shows to fix unless the tivo software changes the guide info and noppv doesn't know when that happens so it keeps checking until it finds some shows. If you want to see all the activity take a look at /var/hack/xPlusz/noppv.log
thanks superzap: I get it..one more question.....with ebd enabled and using the clean, enter, clear thumbs up command.....it seems like my log file is getting long......does 2.5.2 reduce the size of this file on its own...or is there something I should be doing manually?.....are there any house keeping chores that I should be doing?

The xPlusz NOPHONE option causes logsNull to run which controls the logs. That should take care of it automatically.
