Hi,
I do not want to use P4 card as I do not think my P3 is at end of life yet. Anyway, my T60 was upgraded to 3.1. I had a disk image of 2.5.2 as I upgraded the drive 2 weeks ago.
I had been reading over the extreme stuff, but I have this question:
- I want to go back to V.2.5.x, how do I do that ? Will put in back my other drive do it ? Or do I need to install extreme on the current drive ?
- When an upgrade happened, will teh PROM get updated too ? If so, as I install extreme to get the 2.5.x image back, will the PROM be changed back to 2.5 state also ?
- I also want the capability to lock out all those updated in the future, will extreme do it ? I saw something like xPlusX .. but that needs to be install after extreme, right ?
BTW, my T60 internal modification is only the disk drives upgrade so far.
Thanks for your help

After SuperZap answered your last post, why would you copy and paste the exact same question in a whole new post ?!?!?

Is there something you're trying to say ?

I suggest deleting your second attempt.

Thanks

I am sorry, I never intended to repost the thing here. Actually, I posted the message only once, but why does it appear again later here, I have no idea.
I tried to delete this thread, but did not know how.
If I offend you somehow, please accept my apology.

No offense. Especially if it was a sincere error.

It just looks bad, ya know.....

No problem.

First post 02-23-2003 07:55 AM, this one 02-23-2003 06:50 PM. Don't think it was a 'computer glitch'.

Search and read! Then read agian, and agian, and agian, then read some more! Thats how it works...
