can I make a partition on my hard drive for fat32 so the linux boot cd has something to save too or do I have to make a dual boot system
Im running XP now, can I use partition magic to make a fat 32 partition and save there or do I have to add window 98 and make it a dual boot?

made my partition with 3.5 gigs fat32 as another primary (gave the option for logical-but I read somewhere that logical partitions might not work) can't spare any more will that be enough space?

It should be
Im not too sure if having a logial makes a difference, it shouldnt though since Linux does not read from an NTFS partition, just mount the FAT when you boot up
