I swapped My 80GB drive into a different tivo unit and now get an Error detected (Error #51)

Can this be fixed or do I need to reload 25extreme, I would prefer not to loose all my recorded movies....

This is not a problem. Go to Messages & Setup, System Reset, and do a Clear and Delete Everything. After about an hour, you will be ready to go through guided setup.

your method will lose all recordings.

Not saying it is bad or that I know better.... just it will lose all recordings, season pass, and thumbs data.
