Is anyone working on porting TyStudio to Solaris? (either Sparc or X86)

Just don't want to waste what little free time I have if someone's already doing it.

I think it's right behind the Cray Y-MP. :D

As most of the code is portable between Windows, linux and Mac(nearly) - It should port fairly easily. The bigest problem area would be getting a Solaris port of the QT libraries - investigate that before starting.

Give it a go - a new platform would be very welcome.

Join the developer mailing list for tech support during the port.

QT is no problem, that builds fine. Looks like there is a few link lines to fix, -lsocket in a few places.

A bigger issue is why people should be more intelligent in defining types, solaris defines index_t as a short. Annoying.

I am playing with it, I will see how it goes.
