I have one of the original 14 hour stand alone and currently have it hooked to a RCA DRD222RD Directv Receiver. The back of the RCA has a cable that hooks to the "home control" that I assume helps Tivo change the channels on the RCA. My problem is that I just purchased a new RCA DRD515RB and it doesn't have a "home control" connection. Do I hook it into the low speed data or the VCR control or ???

Thanks in advance for your help.

I believe you can connect it to the low speed data port. I know other devices control the IRD through that interface, but since I never used a SA Tivo, I am not sure if it is compatible. Give it a shot.

Good luck

Found a Tivo manal and it says you can use a serial to 9 pin connector to for that connection. Thanks for your response.
