I'm using tyconvert to convert an extracted TY stream to MPG format. No matter what recording I try to convert, tyc spits out messages like this:

Skipping chunk bad timebase
Skipping chunk bad timebase
Skipping chunk bad timebase
Skipping chunk bad timebase
Skipping chunk bad timebase

I always get at least 5 of them for a 30-minute recording.

What does this message mean? Is it a bad thing? I use the TiVoWeb mfsstream plug-in to extract the video - is that the problem? If so, what should I use to extract the video?

On a broader scale, is there a video extractiong FAQ? Something which lists all the known ways to extract video? A lot of people on this forum talk about several different methods, but I can't seem to find any reliable information on any of them.
