When one goes to the Search By Title menu on a HDVR2 with 3.1.U5-01-2-151, the menu just exits. (i.e., One is not able to Search by title w/ any further options).

Here are the logs:

Any ideas? I have a slightly modified mfslib.tcl (only FromMfs). That's about it. (I have tried the original mfslib.tcl too.)

This happened to me once on a 2.5.01 box. It fixed itself in about an hour or two. Hasn't done it since. I think the indexes are being rebuilt or something.

Hmm...

Still not working. This seems quite odd. If anyone has noticed the same problem recently or in the past, let me know.

I may rebuild the unit just for grins, but there really wasn't too much done to it besides your "standard" serial bash hack, fixsub and a one line modification to mfslib.

I now believe that I was smoking some really good crack over the past few days.

When I *should* see the "Quija board" for Search by Title, et al, I have been getting a blank screen. By accident, I hit the right arrow at this blank screen (which I incorrectly assumed was a break/exit). After hitting the arrow, the Quija screen comes up normally.

Crazy stuff.

Like I said, it might be the really good crack. :-)

This happens if you're missing some FSIDs in your MFS file system about 2000. I backed up a system with the default (which stops at ID 2000), and got the same thing. Once I loaded 2000-9999 the problem went away.
