Has anyone had trouble getting bash prompt with the U5 image saved on the above drive? My partition is not getting recognized during boot up of the mfstools floppy. I am pretty sure I have dma off and byteswapping enabled. I just can not view the partitions on my new drive. After re imaging the drive with the U5 I place in the dtivo and let it boot. I check the info screen and it reads the U5 software version. No error messages and I get live tv on channel 100. I power down the dtivo and place the tivo drive back in the fat32 puter. During boot up I am watching the kernel messages for the partition check and at "hdc" (tivo drive) it reads "unknown partition table" again. Should I use a 5400rpm drive cause data might not be read correctly?
