Input/Output Error while doing mfsbackup

I get an Input/Output Error when running mfsback. I am following the guide to do this and following the directions on the IDE settings and all.

Error:
mfs_load_volumeheader : mfsvol_readdata
Make sure the drive isnot locked . . .


I am trying to backup my Tivo before I use it and add a 100GB HD Drive.

I am no expert, but it sounds to me that your drive is locked. Try to look for file called "qunlock".

It says that Backup failed to start. I tried another drive with the exact problem. Is there anyone who has done this?

I have verified that the Tivo drive is being seen as 10 MB. I run qunlock and it says to power cycle. I run qunlock 2 for the appropriate drive.

Does anyone know how I unlock the drive?
