I have a DSr6000 with lifetime sub and I think it has 2.5 on it. I have a sub HU card but my locals are not showing up on the 6000. Can anyone tell me how I can get my locals to show up on my DSR6000? My subscription includes locals.

Um... I might be talking crazy here, but, did you try DTV customer service?

Sounds like you're saying you got a legit sub and are paying for locals... in that case, they can probably fix you up while you're on the phone with them.

They'll probably want to send you a P4 card to replace your Hu card. If you're running 2.5 then you'll have to upgrade to either 2.5.2 or 3.1. Note that your Hu card won't work with 3.1 without replacing the boot299.btl file from an earlier version of the software. If you're running 2.5Xtreme, you can install Supezap's upgrade to either 2.5.2 or 3.1. If you upgrade to 3.1 then install BlissTerPopper to take care of the Hu card issue. Note that you will also have to do a Clear Program Data & To Do List after installing the upgrade for your locals to come back. There are a couple of threads on this issue in the DirecTV Tivo hacking forum.
