I upgraded my sat t-60 to dual 120g seagate drives yesterday first with the original 25xtreme, then upto 3.1. I even went as far to keep it working with an hu. Turned everything on, however, appear to have one problem.
Today, I just noticed that when I attempt to watch my locals, i'm being told "Channel not Available". I am within the spot beam for the buffalo locals, which are on the 119 bird. The channels are showing on the guide, but any attempts to watch them give me Channle not Available. The signal isn't the best, only in the low 50's for the 119 sat (90's on the 101). But if the signal wasn't strong enough, I would always get searching for sat signal, not channel not available. I've dumped the channel.dat with xplus, and reloaded it several times.
Now I can get the Cleveland locals to show up. Sorta the opposiite with then. My guide keeps showing "To Be Announced", but the channels are all there. Now is Cleveland on the 101 bird?
I'm trying to isolate if this is a tivo problem or a dish/signal problem before climbing on the roof. I would think "Channel not Available" would be a tivo issue as I'm not told it cant' find a signal, which I use to get with poor weather.
