Philips DSR 6000 Tivo good?

Hello all. I was wondering if the Philips DSR 6000 is a good unit for testing. Is it easy to set up? I have been wanting a PVR for quite some time now. Thanks for any answers in advance.

Me too, but for the Sony SAT-T60.

DSR6000 is an excellent unit. Easy to upgrade. Stable unit.

The Sony T-60, Philips DSR6000, and the Hughes GXCEBOT are identical units electronicly. The sony uses a different remote and remote controller board.

Other than that, if i pulled the cover, I would bet 1 million u could not tell them apart.
