I have a Series 1 SA 3.0 Tivo with TurboNet, telnet/ftpd, TivoWeb, and I've been playing around with a few scripts to update program info (edittitle, tivotitle, etc.) I'd like to do some more advanced programming, but have not had much success so far learning how MFS, tyDB, and tivosh all work by just looking through scripts. I've searched the web for some type of reference material but have not found much. I'm looking for documentation on:
- MFS structure, field definitions
- database TCL function reference/usage
- tivosh environment
I'm extremely impressed by the sophisticated tivo hacks that have been written. Those of you that have been involved in developing them -- how did you go about learning how all of the above things work?
