Need step by step for my hdvr2

I have an hdvr2, and I bought a new 120G hd for it. I have no idea where to start, but I want to set it up so it can go in my hdvr2 and work with my HU card (now it has some other kind).
If there's a step by step guide or something, please point me in the right direction.
