v250 to 252 help!!

C. from bash on the DTiVo:
1. backup your DTiVo hard drives
2. use WinImage to extract 2 files,
v252.tar and upgrd252.tcl in the upgrd252 directory.
3. transfer files v252.tar and upgrd252.tcl to /var/hack.
(Note: v252.tar is about 14MB and takes about 30 mins to rz send at 115200)
4. enter:
cd /var/hack
./upgrd252.tcl
5. this will run for several minutes and reboot to v2.5.2


ok im a newbie and i like to upgrade mi dtivo to v252 but i don't know how to transfer those two files , can any one show me step by step how to do #3 and #4
i just make my own serial cable and i have terra term ,winimage

first from the bash prompt type rz. You should be using teraterm pro if you don't already have it. Then a bunch of screwy letters come back. Then under the file menu, transfer file, z modem transfer and then select the file you want to transfer. Then it completes and then you type rz and then the same process for the next files.

then of course you have to chmod 777 filename
then./filename to execute
