stream upgrade to 3.1 and now harddrive Locked

I have a tivo that is sub w/ directv or tivo 2 years ago. Later on I installed turbonet and everything on it. Now it is upgrade to 3.1 somehow I log into the harddrive. I even try to put the harddive back into my computer to put 2.5 image back onto the drive but it said that unable to write to drive or something like that. I try to install windows xp pro on it. It won't even boot on the windows cd.
Please help how to turn this lock off

it is a dsr6000 and when i put the drive back into the tivo
it seem that everything is working just fine

Correct me if Im wrong, but unless something has drastically changed in the last week, your download didn't come from the stream. It most likely happened as a result of your turbonet connection

no this we a long time ago about 2-3 months ago
I just didn't have time to play with it until now
i think when it updated to 3.1 it stop working so i unplug it

I was able to install windows on it
and when i put the drive back into the computer and try to put back my dsr6000 image on it it wont let me write

it stated " your destination drive is unable to write" or something like that
