Ok guys,need bash help

Ive read,read ,read for about 5 hours now and have yet to find anything on seting up bash from scratch.

This is what I have done.
Upgraded to version extreme2.5.2
built my own serial cable.


Everything is working but I want to install xPlusz on my dsr6k
If what Ive read has sunk in correctly I need to establish bash to do this,correct?

I have teraterm open but really dont know what to do with it once it starts ecept chose serial and com 1(thats where reciever is)

I used the xtreme upgrade (v3.1.0 and v2.5.2) to upgrade from 2.5 and now I need to know where to go next.Any help would be appreciated,

Serial port bash is already activated on v252 xupgrade. Just set Tera Term Pro to 115200 baud, select correct COM port and it should connect.

Ok superzap,Nice to see a name I know here from the den,Thank you for your help in getting my bash prompt up,the next question i have is how to install xplusz from that nice looking bash prompt that I have.I am really a newbie at this tivo stuff,but have been around the block at the things that were not allowed to talk about here :):):).
