Yesterday after reading and reading I did the following to my Philips 6000 Directivo:
Using Hinesdale how to; I added a 120 gig harddrive as my "B" drive to my Directivo and everything worked fine.
It showed up to 146 hours of recording time available.. I was happy as could be.
Later in the evening....menus seemed to get slower and slower. Graphics took forever to load.... then it went into a reboot loop...first it would get to the final step loading satellite info...and get to 93% then reboot..over and over.....
I then tried unpluging and left for 30 min then tried again...Same result...
Now the hard drives will not even spin-up...if the drives are not connected to the motherboard they will spin (ribbon cable only fits in one direction so yes it is attached correctly)....if ribbon cable is plugged to mb they will not spin..tried both drives seperately and same thing. Cooling fan spins up so I know the mb is getting power..
Any Suggestions?
Can someone recommend a good repair service company?
