3.1 the ONLY permanent way back for LOCALS

As far as I know, Dave has hit us hard on the locals front. The only permanent way in my humble opinion is 3.1.

Will 3.1 work with an hu card?

I have a legit hu card and I don't want to be forced to use a p4 in it.

I thought I read that all you have to do is modify a file.

My locals have been holding steady ever since I upgraded to 2.5.2. I originally tried upgrading my existing 2.5Xtreme configuration but the locals would come and go and wouldn't stick around even after doing a Clear Program Data & To Do List. I finally relented and performed a fresh install of 2.5Xtreme and then performed Superzap's 2.5.2 upgrade. Everything's been hunky dory ever since. I see no need to go to 3.1 at this point in time. I have no doubt that Dave will eventually send something down the stream that will require everyone to switch to 3.1 or perhaps a newer OS version at some time in the future. He seems to be pulling out all of the stops in maintaining his Big Brother role.
