copying UTV to DVD

Is there a way to copy recorded shows from my UTV onto a dvd?

we could really use some sticky's in this forum. Particulary ones on video extraction, drive swaps, 3.7 info and where we are on hacks for UTV.

That would be very helpful for posts such as these.
