Buy new larger drive, install extreme2.5, upgrade to 2.5.2 or 3.1, run midupdate, then clear program data and todo list, finally, enjoy your dtivo.

Use the Phillips DSR6000 extreme 2.5 image for your Hughes.

You can get everything you'll need at: http://www.tivostuff.com/

DarkWing's sequence is the way to go. Probably need to expand it slightly to mention that you'll need to configure xPlusz (installed as part of upgrade to 2.5.2 or 3.1) with whatever hacks you'd like.

The Phillips image works on a Hughes but it will report the unit as a Phillips in the system info (not that you'll care about that).
