Just got my first TiVo...Need to add bigger HD ;)

Hello all!!

I just purchased my very first TiVo!! I've been around them quite a bit, but never owned one for myself. Its about time!! It's a Philips HDR 31202. A friend of mine and I have added additional hard drives to several Philips DirecTiVo units, but never to a stand alone. Is the process the same?? It seems like I remember the boot CD being specific to the model....any help here?? ;) If I do need a "special" :-) boot disk outside of the one we used for the DirecTiVo upgrades, can someone point me in the right direction?? Thanks for the help, this site is GREAT!!

OK, nevermind :cool: It's amazing what just a little bit of searching will do... ;) I found the Hinsdale How-To, which is what my friend and I originally used to upgrade his and several others DirecTiVos. That How-To pretty much takes care of my Q's :D However, any other tips/tricks/pitfalls to watch for with this particular model are still more than welcome. Sorry to bother everyone!!
