I've used TyStudio to create a DVD compliant .MPG file - so far so good.

Now I'd like to actually burn it to DVD-R.

The file is 2+ gigs.

Nero won't let me use the DVD Video wizard (complains about file size).

I've tried UDF (sp?) 1.02 and a few other formats, but my DVD player won't touch it.

What steps (and hopefully only freeware or what I already own - Nero, TMPGEnc, and Studio 8.5 from Pinnacle [which won't import video for me for some reason]) do I need to take to create a compliant DVD with files in the correct directories, etc.?

Thanks

use tytool7r3 (sticky at the top of the page). it lets you go all the way to vobs.

the sticker is if you have an sa and your player won't do 32khz mpeg audio. if this is the case, you'd have to go another way.
