Is there a way to install 252 without installing 25extreme first? I ask because I'm having trouble with the upgrade and at pitoudistro they have two files xupgrade.zip which is only 50mb and another D6k252x1.mfs which is 120mb. at tivostuff.com they've got D6k252x1.iso is this bootable like the 25xtreme.iso that can clone both drives?

Superzaps's upgrade requires that 2.5Xtreme be installed first. The xupgrade.zip file is the one you want. The D6252x1.mfs and D6k252x1.iso are backup images of a non-Xtremed DTivo at OS version 2.5.2. If you're having trouble performing the up[grade by transferring the files to the DTivo first the might I suggest you try burning the upgrade iso to create a bootable CD and install it in your PC. It's actually faster than transferring the files.
