When a person restores a Tivo image to a new hard drive or whatever, in some cases, there are various things left behind, such as area specific information, recent recording info, guide info, etc.

Therefore it is necessary for one to do a "clear and delete everything", using the Tivo remote once the drive is plugged back in. That works very well.

The problem is that the process of "clear and delete everything" takes 3 hours (of'course tivo tells you it is only going to take an hour).

I have heard that there is a way to perform this from the command line, after the restore is completed. Can anyone help me with what that might be.

The process I am looking for would go something like this....
1) Restore Image.
2) Clear and Delete Everything from the COMMAND LINE.
3) Plug the drive back into the Tivo and boot up.

There is now no need to wait three hours!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
