Jdiner has specified that the DVD Lab will not take VOB muxed output from TYTool 7r3. He and others have also pointed out that what DVD Lab does is squash the chapter stops in thier current form.

Does anyone know if DVD Lab could handle NOT the VOB mux files, but rather the VOB files put out by DVD Author? At that stage the chapter stops will have already been done by TYTool and aren't necessary any more. Thus, we get chapter stops nicely done by TYTool, and our pretty little menus by DVD Lab.

Yes, you can use the final VOB created with DVDAuthor, but for DVDlab to use it you need to "GOP fix" it with mpeg2vcr. Oh, and the chapter points set DVDlab can't use them, maybe Oscar will make a better check in the VOB in a later release.

So if you need to use DVDlab, then it's better to create the VOB with no chapters with DVDAuthor in TyTool (changing make.bat and removing -c option), then GOP fix with mpeg2vcr (but only type 1 and 2 errors), then DVDlab, create menus, chapters, etc. and final DVD.
