Unit was not DOA. When I got unit, plugged it in and it works fine.

He told me he needed money back for emergency. So I took it back. I have copies of emails if you would like to see.

When he shipped unit, did not shipp in box I shipped. The front plate of the unit was broke because was not enough room in box.

I now have had to file a claim with FED-EX to see if they will cover repairs. I was told because there was not 2in on each side of box, they may not cover the repairs.

I have the reciept when I shipped with box size and weight.

So, now I have to make sure that I don't incur any loss before I refund your money. Before you start bad-mouthing someone, tell the whole story.

Anyone here is free to PM KRavEN and PlackSlayer, and ask him am I a good seller. I also have over 20 Tivos sold here. I will post the peoples emails. You are more than welcome to email any of them and see that I go out of my way to help.

yes the box was DOA on arrival (could have been a magnetic source near the box during shipping as you stated to me) and no i did not send it in the same original box. instead i purchased a usps shipping box (better than the original box) made for electrical-type equipment and bubble wrapped the whole unit and even the remote. there were 2 inches in each 4 quads if you took out the bubble wrap. i placed enough bubble wrap into the box to prevent the unit from slipping/moving. the only damage that could have incurred would be if it was dropped by fedex. the two inch rule holds no water.....all equipment is packaged tight. fedex is playing with you...

i was informed that damage was incurred on the unit during shipping from yellaboyla and i did take out 400.00 insurance on the unit. i hate that damage was done to the unit but this is a risk we all take when sending equipment through the mail and also why everyone should take out insurance on their equipment.

i just had a baby (my emergency) and i did not have the time to fix the unit myself since it was DOA. yellaboyla agreed to take the unit back since it did not work and refund the money. thus bringing us to this post. i also have all of the emails but that does not matter.

i understand your concern but not replying to my emails tends to make a person very suspicious about the seller. i have no doubt about you not being a good seller, your reputation is why i purchased the unit from you in the first place. if you would have stated this fact a week or two ago by replying to my emails, i would not have posted (this is the first reply from you in two weeks). i just want to make sure that someone else does not end up in the same senario as i am in, trying to contact someone for their money back with no reply.....

i know that i could just be shooting myself in the foot here and this post will convince you to never send my money back....but i hope that you are not that type of person.

sorry to take up bandwidth but a head's-up is always good. i have been burned before and that scar does not heal very easily. i have been an avid reader here at DD and i hate it that my first post is this one....thanks to all of the mods for all of their great insite
:D :D

i will post when the money is returned.
