Alright. I try not to post a notice in the main part here everytime I make a release. But the latest version adds a great new feature and I wanted to kind of get the word out.

With TyTool7r7 and VSplit 3.2 you can now use an MPEG file, mpeg-2 Program Stream or a VOB files) as input as well as the much more typical TyStreams... The rest of the processes can then be used. It is possible to make cut files, and edit the output to remove commercials or other unwanted elements of a show, or transcode the audio to a new settting.

I added theis because I had some DVDs I had made in the past that had the "jerking" display rather than the newer smooth playback. I had just deleted the TyStreams and could not get them back, i.e. long deleted now. So now you can process things that have already been run through TyTool/Vsplit/etc...

Check the release notes for a more full description but I have tested output from TyTool/Vsplit/BBMpeg/TMPGEnc/etc...

Really just an FYI...

To come soon is importing for a set of split, .m2v and .m2a, files...

Outstanding. This is just what I've been waiting for! Now I don't have to wait for all those Seinfeld episodes I'm missing to come around again. I can just edit the ones I authored that still contain the commercials. Woo Hoo! It's like Christmas in July. Thanks, Josh! Have a cold one on me, Buddy.
