Please help!
Using TyTools (Excellent work! Thanks for all the effort!)...
Have successfully pulled *.ty, edited, created the vob's and burned w/Nero.
All is well while reading the disk from PowerDvd but when playing from my "RCA" SA dvd player the audio is fast and high pitched. I tried setting the audio setup to PCM, Dolby Digital and DTS. No luck!
Sooo... am I stupid here???
Please help a dummy out!
Thx

Doesn't the audio have to be 48KHz for DVD? My TiVo rips are at 32KHZ, so I am guessing yours are too. Maybe you should resample the audio to 48KHZ, then mux and try as DVD?

The latest version of TyTool7r7a allows you to transcode the audio from a SA Tivo tystream to 48kHz. Check the release notes for more info.

This seems like the exact same problem I have with my DVD-RW's - though they play okay with PowerDVD and WinDVD.
Ill have another read through the Release notes..
Does anybody know if I can check the audio rate od the DVD ive already cut?

RTFM - Ihave read the Audio Transcoding Notes June 23
You must select a DVD Audio output mode.... It says the the Defaults is set to None , for UK SA user Mode #5 looks favourite.
I'll give that a try and see of that works...

Update...
Sorry for taking so long for feedback!
RTFM! (I swear I did!)
Yes, selecting option #5 (48khz) was the answer. TyTools does it all and I'm quite impressed!
One thing I have been struggling with is getting a portable (workable) format into DVD Lab (for menus). All translations fail in the end.
Thanks to all for your help!
