I just finished setting up my Philips HDR312 SA tivo with ver. 3.0 and a turbonet card and I am now in the process of working on the extraction.
I have setup tytools and it is working albeit extremely slow...It takes approximately 4 minutes to get the NowShowing list to appear (and that's with only a couple of shows listed) the first time I connect. After the first time, it takes about a minute if I want to refresh. If I close the connection and do it again, I am back up to 4 minutes.
The actual download is not too bad...it starts pretty much right way (about a couple of seconds delay) and I get about 1 mbps transfer rate unlike my dsr6000 were I get close to 2 mbps.
Is there anything different in the tytool setup from a dtivo to a stand alone? Anybody have any experiences they like to share?
