No direspect to the writers, but that's going to be a heck of a lot more difficult than the tools programs released to-date.
Remember, the tools run on a PC and simply allow you to do things w/ the UTV data. Setting up networking will require opening up the actual UTV WinCE code, reverse engineering it, and adding the new code.
BlueCop already found some refernces to LAN support in the code, but I think we're a long way off from your wish.
XBOX came with native LAN support, Tivo is Linux, so adding it was relatively easy. I'm not aware that anyone has hacked WinCE to that level yet - and that's not mentioning the hardware issues that need to be overcome.
