Is there a way short of renameing the files to get tytools to be able to "see" the ty+ files? I know the + format just grabbs the show information as well and will allow it to be sent back to the tivo. I have about 50-60 shows I am ready to process not and I hate to rename them all to end in ty and then rename them back to ty+ to go back to the tivo

This is in the option of pick files to multiplex options

1) Open a DOS window
2) Ren *.ty+ *.ty

when done

3) Ren *.ty *.ty+

Can't take more than 3 seconds to rename them all.

Bubblelamp will rename *.ty+ to *.ty /s work? I guess I will have to test it since most shows are in different directorys

BTW I didnt know a batch rename could be done I was typing each one out manually... and I kinda grew up in DOS... Learn something new each day

No /s will not work.

There are also batch rename tools for Windows, search around and you'll find some.

Yeah. Ok. Just as an FYI the GUI now handles .mpg and .mpeg as well as .ty+ file extensions wherever applicable.
