Ok, everyone hold your breath and trust me I have read hundreds of post about all the 2.5.2 problems, and command, I only upgraded trying to get my locals back, still no luck, but I am going to give it a night before I say it was a failure and see if it will download the guides....

Anyway, simple question, and I am sure I have looked over this SOMEHOW, but...

How do I got the same commands to automatically start up each time the Tivo reboots? I am in Florida, lots of power outages, even though it is on a UPS, but it would seem this has to be a feature of xplusz...I want run the EBD, and 30 sec skip everytime, and I am still a little unclear if I need to run the NOPPV, and MVCHANNELS after each boot-up. If anyone could answer this I would be a pretty happy camper even without locals...yet.

Thanks.

Still no locals but Tivo Mag, and all that stuff came though during the night, never had that stuff before.

I have to wonder is anyone in Orlando, or Jax getting locals, I tried using market ID 13, and 140, and still no luck, I even tried changing the "card" and putting it in an old RCA ird, and couldn't get locals, I am almost positive the card is set up right, would be interested to hear from someone about this. Thanks!

On the locals issue, you need to do a Clear Program Data & To Do List after upgrading to 2.5.2 if the guide data populated the guide anytime after 2.5Xtreme was installed. I've found that the best way to avoid problems associated with upgrading to get locals back is to do a fresh installation of 2.5Xtreme on the drives, put the drives back in the DTivo, let it reflash the EEPROM and reboot, and then rebuild the database. You don't want to connect the sat inputs until after you've upgraded to 2.5.2.

When the DTivo finishes rebuilding the database and attempts to acquire the satellite signal, go ahead and perform the 2.5.2 upgrade. I prefer the CD method but that involves moving the drives between the DTivo and your PC but it's still much faster.

After the upgrade has completed, go ahead and set up your xPlusz commands for whatever hacks you want to activate. Make sure you activate ADDLOCS (#20,1) to get your locals. You will also have to go through guided setup from scratch. Reboot the DTivo when you're done setting everything up and reconnect the sat inputs. When it acquires the satellite signal it will rebuild the guide data from scratch with the 2.5.2 OS installed and you should get your locals.
