can tivo tell if you have a hack card. can tivo get the show schedules from the direct tv show schedules?

The card works just like any other card in any other DTV receiver. A DTivo gets its channel guide from the DTV satellite not the phone line.

so i don't need to plug my directv tivo into the phoneline. It will still let me record tv and what about the serive. do i still have to buy the service.
