Invaild Audio Size

I searched for an answer to this question, and wasn't able to find anything.

I'm having an issue extracting some tystreams from my TiVo using the Win client. I'm generally pulling using a script using the command line, and my entire log is:

"demux: Wrong audio size! 0
Error Opening remote tystream"

I get this error immediately, whether I'm trying ty pull down the ty file at the command line or just get the preview in the gui. This error is consistent, repeatable and stream specific.

I ran a script today that pulled off 61 streams, and this error only came up twice. This leads me to believe my configuration is basically fine. These programs are watchable on the TiVo, and I don't see anything wrong with them.

Any ideas, anyone?

I am having the exact same issue on a DTivo SAT-60 using tyGet. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the format the audio was transmitted with (Dolby Digital, stereo, etc.).

I guess I should have mentioned that I am also using a DTivo, also.

Is there another way to retrieve the Ty stream from the Tivo? I'd like to fiddle with it a little more with it on a local filesystem, but the tyget and equivalent tools are the only method I've seen thus far.

There are currently at least four different methods of extracting ty files from a Tivo:

1) TyTool7r7a

2) TyStudio with tyserver and tyindexer

3) mfs_ftp - extract using an ftp program

4) TivoWeb with mfsstream - extract using your web browser.

There are sticky threads on the first two tools and miscellaneous threads on the other two. Perform a search and you should find them easily.
