rc.sysinit information needed

putting the finishing touches to my hdvr2 with upgraded flash :), and wanted to speed up and disable the software updates. i think i found the areas in the rc.sysinit file that deal with updating the software. and now want to concentrate on ripping unneeded sections, even though the file is well commented, its still not real clear what the section do. i was hoping someone has information/better descriptions for the diff sections. worst case i probably do the trial and error methode. lol

you pretty much said it. if you can't figure out what it does, i wouldnt mess with it. anything that can realistically be removed is pretty obvious
