DTivo cutting off the end of my programs!

My DirecTivo is cutting off the end of some of the programs I am recording. For example, last night I recorded a show that was an hour long and only 42 minutes of it were recorded. Most of the time only the last 2 minutes or so are cut off and that's bad enough but 18 minutes is ridiculous. Any ideas why this could be happening and is there anything I can do about it? I have plenty of space available on my hard drive so I know that's not the problem.

What channel? Some channels, especially MTV, don't exactly adhere to their time scedules. Comedy Central is another one, but not near as bad as MTV.

NBC is bad about starting their bigger programs a minute or two early or running them a minute or two over. They do this to try and manipulate neilson ratings and to try and nudge you towards not watching favorite shows on other networks because you might miss a few minutes of their shows.

I solved it by using my dual tuners and having my favorite shows start recording 5 minutes early and going 5 minutes over. Of course, like the previous poster mentioned...If you are trying to get the Osbournes off of MTV...good luck because they are on their own schedule :cool:
