HDVR2 Stuck at bootup

I have a 80gig HD with u5 serial bash. It booted up and was working great for the past couple of weeks until today when after I did a power-off boot, it now get stuck at bootup with the "Almost there..few seconds.." message. I have tried to re-boot several times but it is stuck. Any suggestions

and follow alldeadhomiez directions on how change your rc.sysinit file so that you can follow the boot process to find out where your problem is. Once you find out where it's hanging, it you can't fix it, come back and ask again.
