Hi all,

I just loaded 25xtreme on my new hard drives. Everything went well, Hughes DiretTivo started up fine. I hooked up my serial cable and I do not get a bash prompt. The serial cable is good because I tested it on my other tivo and it comes up with a bash prompt. The speed is set 9600 and I know it should work. I had to download the 25xtreme disk because I lost my old in the move last month. I just asking because I am thinking it’s the downloaded file and nothing that I did. I have done several Tios in the past and never had this problem before. Is it possible that the serial port on the tivo is bad? (Highly doubtful but a possibility This Tivo also has a turbonet card in it and was at one point loaded with all software I needed. If you needed more info just ask.

Thanks in advance
