I have a Hughes GXCEBOT that says that the dual tuner is enabled. I am looking to have another satellite line go to the Tivo to enable the dual tuner. I am just wondering if the dual tuner not enabled means that this Tivo is not capable of having a dual tuner even with 2 satellite signals going into it or if it will say it is enabled if i put in the to satellite signals.
Thanks

There are two things that need to be in place for dual-tuners. The software needs to be version 2.5 or above, and you need to rerun the Satellite setup and tell it you have a dual-LNB dish.

I do have a dual tuner and have a software version above 2.5 but on system info it says that dual tuner is not enabled. So does that mean that even if i have everything set up it wont work since the tivo does not have the feature built in? Or do i just set it up and then it will turn to enabled?

You must have 2 lines running from the dish to the Tivo, then you must re-run satellite setup and tell it you want 2 tuners enabled.
