installed turbonet card, ran Dylan, now what?

Its me again :( I installed the turbonet card then ran the MFS Tools / Dylan's Boot Disk. It completed the setup OK.

The Tivo has a link but is not getting a DHCP address. I know my DHCP server is running because other devices are getting addresses.

My Tivo is running 3.0. Do I still need to run the MFS Tools boot CD? I thought 3.0 has the network drivers already built into the kernel. Since I can't boot from the CD, I have a few options. 1. Should I try the non-joliet version? 2. Boot from Linux floppy then mount the CD (what are the commands) and run the nic_install program.

Anyone,

Surely someone out there has an idea on what might be wrong. I ran the nic_install program from a mounted floppy. It completes without any problems. It does not get a DHCP address.

Someone suggested in an email that the driver loads but the network subsystem is not loading. Any ideas how to fix it? How do you remove the network settings? What files need to be removed?

I am really struggling, any ideas are welcome.
