generating romfs.img

When i go to make a romfs.img it tells me that the romfs.img is a read only file system. I am following step by step with what the how to is tellign me to do. Does anyone know if i am missing something. This is what i am doing. First i mount the cd rom. then i cd to the cdrom. then i type genromfs -f /romfs.img -d img/

Are you sure you're not typing "romfs.img" instead of "/romfs.img"? If you've cd'd to the CDROM, then specifying a file in the same directory would give you the message you're seeing.

I got everything typed in correctly. I rebooted and evrything still works, But i still have no bash promt?
