First a big thanks to everyone on this forum for their hard work and dedication to this "hobby".
As a relatively newbie here i have a question about the WUSB11. Has anyone been able to get their WUSB11 wireless adapter and HDVR2 to use WEP? I hate to disable for the enitre network just for HDVR2.
Thanks Nash

If I remember correctly, none of the drivers have a spot to give any WEP info. The onyl way is to recompile with the WEP key in the driver itself.
I used a regular USB eth card (USB200M) and than attached a wireless bridge (WET11 for 802.11b or WET54G for Wireless-G) and then turned on encryption.

yup, your best bet for wep is a wireless bridge or a wireless access point in bridge mode. course, if you wanted to get WEP working and share the wealth, it would be appreciated. alternatively, you could get IPSEC working on the s2 units, and we could use that =)

In the USB drivers thread, some people seem to have got WEP working. It involves recompiling the Tivo kernel.

I have been working on getting this type of setup to work. I have the USB200M and a WET11. My DSR7000 can't seem to comunicate with the bridge in line. Tivo works fine wired directly to the router but I get nothing when hooked up to the WET11?
