TyTool can't extract

*using TyTool 7r7

Hey guys, I have a S2Dsr7000 with working tytool and kmem setup. I have checked and watched the files on tivo and work fine. However when I try to extract using multiplex @ dvd audio, the telnet says it's extracting (and takes the whole time all the way up to 100%), but it's saying (can't find chunk size in tytool txt and after clicking GET (not a second after) you see "done...read 0 bytes"). The file ends up being 3kb. However when I use Ty format I can watch on tytool looping it over and i get the file no problem. But I can not process that file also.

PS here is what I am told when trying to process that file.

The file was just recorded for about 15 minutes through record live tv.

I have been reading the extraction and s2 forums trying to find the reason it's not working. Any help is GREATLY appreciated! :(

Once again I found the problem. I made sure I had the right Tserver and MFS in my folder, and I reinitialized my kmem just in case I forgot to after the reformat. File came out great!


Also, I read that s1 can alter their recording bitrate and picture, but can this be done on s2 tivos? I was not able to get tivoweb working on my machine, so is there another way to change the file format? TIA
