I've read all over trying to fix this but no luck.

After an Airnet install I can ping my T-60 from any computer on the network(3). The Linksys wireless router sees it and assigns it an ip address. It will make a test call over the network with no problem after entering ",#401" in the dailing prefix.

Problem: I can not telnet or ftp into it. I have reinstalled the airnet software twice and get the same result. When I telnet into it I get "Connecting To 192.168.1.102...Could not open connection to the host, on port 23: Connect failed"

Also running Extreme and #12 shows both services running. I have stopped and restarted them with the same result..

Ifconfig says:

/var/hack# ifconfig
lo Link encap:Local Loopback
inet addr:127.0.0.1 Bcast:127.255.255.255 Mask:255.0.0.0
UP BROADCAST LOOPBACK RUNNING MTU:3584 Metric:1
RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 coll:0

eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:05:5D:DA:CE:2B
inet addr:192.168.1.102 Bcast:192.168.1.255 Mask:255.255.255.0
UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 coll:0
Interrupt:29

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

I just got my working yesterday following these instructions:

Also, did you enable telnet and FTP via XPlusz?

Yes, I did enable telnet and ftp via xplusz twice. I shut it off and restarted it to see if that would work.

Looking at those instructions I have a question.
They say:
4- edit rc.sysint and take all the lines after "bash --login" out. There were a few blank lines before a 3 line set of commands.
My rc.sysint file has a considerable number of lines after "bash --login". Maybe 100 lines.. would that be it? seems like an awfull lot to delete. Also, I'm running 3.1 will that make a difference?

Finally, it appears I have it working now. I just reinstalled xplusz310.zip using the ./setup -u command and it worked great. Even kept my old settings. No edit of the rc.sysint was needed. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction
