First of all let me thank everybody for all the help and all of the info that helped me get my DTivo setup working in the first place. Secondly, heres my question:

I have a GXCEBOT DTivo or Direct Tivo or DirecTivo box with the stock 40GB drive in it. I wanted to add a 160GB Maxtor 7200RPM HD with 8mb Cache to it as a B: drive. Is this a good idea?

Ive been reading for a little while and I realise that only 137GB will work from the 160GB drive, but I will have the 137 plus my original 40 to make a total 177GB DTivo box.

I should just be able to bless the 160GB as a B: drive and hook it up to the DTivo im pretty sure, and not loose anything at all... I think. :)

If Im wrong and need to be corrected, please do so. And as always any and all information is greatly apreciated.

Thanks In Advance!

P.S. Or would a 80GB 7200RPM Western Digital 8mb Cache drive be better then the 160GB Maxtor? Thanks.
