Ok here is a readme I put tongether to help everyone out there.

That is a 1 out of 7 chance on the dead modem. If you reboot the tivo it will hang on almost there just a few more seconds, its the same thing. That only happens when you first try to install extreme 2.5 or 2.5.2 The thing about mounting the drive is not true. You can easily use a bash cable to do this. Thats the idea of 2.5............to have bash access. Try again and see if you get bash with 2.5...........

2.5 uses 9600 speed and 2.5.2 uses 115200
