Which Tuner?

Is there a way using TivoWeb, TyTool, or bash to find out which tuner a show was recorded on? I ask because I am intermittently having problems that look like rain fade. When I switch to the other tuner, the picture immediately clears up. I know it could be the tuner, wiring, multi switch, or the lnb. I believe it is the multi switch, because when I plug and unplug it the problem goes away for a while.
